Indian Commercial Pilot License Requirements

To obtain an Indian Commercial Pilot License (CPL), candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Age: Minimum 18 years
  • Education: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics
  • Medical: Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Flight Experience: Minimum 200 hours of flight time
  • Ground Exams: Pass all DGCA theoretical knowledge exams
  • English Proficiency: ICAO Level 4 or higher
  • Radio Telephony: RTR(A) License
